The six-member Board of Directors consists of:
He was born on 27 May, 1956. He graduated from the Lapithos Gymnasium, studied Economics at the Aristotelian University of Salonika and holds postgraduate diplomas from the Mediterranean Institute of Management (P.G.M. DipM.) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (DipM. CIM).
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board of the public company Blue Island Plc, engaging in seafood production, processing and trade. He is offering his services to the company from 1993.
He is a Business Consultant in Management, Marketing and Human Resource Development. He provides consultancy services through the private company KEDE (Kinisi Business Administration Company) Limited, of which he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1992.

He was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank from June 2010 up until June 2013.
He took over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority and of some of its subsidiary companies on August 2003 up until July 2009.
He was member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Stock Exchange from December 1993 to September 1999.
He worked as a General Manager of mattress-makers Gevorest Ltd from 1980 to 1992.
He belongs to the third generation of a family engaged in the trading of fresh fish. For almost 20 years he has been the Managing Director and Director of the family business “Zaloumis Fish Market Ltd” which deals in the retail sale of fish and catering throughout Cyprus.
Giorgos Zaloumis’ vision has always been the modernization and upgrading of services offered to customers and the implementation of the strictest hygienic standards at all stages in the trading of fish.
In this framework, Zaloumis Fish Market Ltd cooperated with Blue Island Plc and its merging with Blue Island Plc took place on 27 August 1999 with the acquisition of Zaloumis Fish Market by Blue Island Plc.
Today he is the Managing Director of Blue Island Plc and Chairman of the Board of Blue Fisheries Ltd.
Ioannis Kremmos was born in 1979 and his family comes from Lapithos, Kyrenia. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, University of Athens. He has a masters’ degree from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing in the field of Corporate Management and Strategic Planning and a post graduate diploma from Anglia Ruskin University in the field of Marketing and Innovation. In 2011 he became a Certified Manager from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers, and in 2013 he became a Certified Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
In 2004, he was employed by Blue Island Plc and worked at various sections of the company. Today he is a member of the Board of the company and Executive Director in the sector of General Management. He is also a member of the Board of Blue Fisheries Ltd.
From 2002, he is a Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the private company KEDE (Kinisi Business Administration Company) Limited, which provides consultancy services on Management, Marketing and Human Resource Development.
On January 2014, he was appointed a Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Ports Authority.
He worked for 2 years as manager at the Estiotechniki Ltd firm which was active in the constructions sector.
He has been an elected member of the Municipal Council and Chairman of the Youth Organisation of the Lapithos Municipality from December 2006 until November 2011.
Ioannis Economides was born in 1971. He is a graduate of the Keele University in the field of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science. He has also an MBA from the same University.
He worked for four years at the IBM Cyprus as Technical Consultant on Software Programmes and for another a year at Gateway International as Sales Consultant on Computing Solutions.
Since June 2000 he has been working with Blue Island Plc, in which he is an Executive Director. In 2006 he was elected member of the Board of Directors of Blue Island Plc and Secretary of the Board. Today he is Executive Director in the sector of fry breeding & production of Blue Island Plc.
On February 2014, he was appointed by the Ministry of Finance a Member of the Board of Directors of Nicosia Co-Operative Bank, a position he still holds today.
Antonakis Andronikou served as Acting Director- General of the Planning Bureau, Secretary of the Council of Ministers and Chairman and Director General of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation.
He also served as a Member of the Strovolos Municipal Board, Chairman of the European Tourism Commission and the European Travel Commission.
He is a Director in a number of private and public companies.
He has published numerous articles in international magazines and represented Cyprus in international conferences and seminars. He is graduate from the University of London (LSE) in Law (LLB) and has a post-graduate degree in Public Administration. He also has a PhD in Tourism Industry.
Currently, he is a Director of Blue Island Plc and Chairman of Regalia Holdings & Investments Ltd.
Iosif Korellis was born in 1969. He has a diploma in computers from the Higher Technical Institute, he is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of Cyprus.
Having gained great experience in accounting, auditing and the financial sector, in 2004 he established the KORELLIS IOSIF & CO LTD, of which he is the Managing Director.
He served as a member of various committees of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of Cyprus.
Iosif Korellis is a member of the Board of Blue Island Plc and in a number of private companies.
